Singapore Visa Application Status
Once your Singapore visit-visa application is submitted through the authorised visa application channel, we update you directly as it moves along — we're not going to send you to a self-service tracking portal we can't vouch for. Here's what to expect while you wait.
How Status Updates Typically Work
Because applications from India go through an authorised channel rather than being filed directly with Singapore's Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), the most reliable way to know where your application stands is to hear it from whoever submitted it on your behalf. When you apply with us, that's exactly what we do — we stay in touch with the channel and pass on updates as we get them, rather than leaving you to chase a tracking number somewhere.
Why We Don't Point You to a Tracking Portal
You may see other sites reference a specific online status-check system. We're not confident enough in what's currently available and reliable for Indian applicants to send you to a named portal — we'd rather be upfront that direct communication is how we keep you informed, instead of pointing you toward something that might not work the way it's described.
If Additional Documents Are Requested
It's fairly common for an authorised channel to come back asking for one document to be clarified, updated, or replaced. This isn't necessarily a sign of a problem — it's often a routine part of getting an application over the line. If this happens on your case, we tell you exactly what's being asked for and help you get a response back promptly.
Realistic Expectations While You Wait
We don't promise a fixed processing timeline (see our processing time page), so the most useful thing you can do while waiting is stay reachable — keep your phone and email accessible in case a quick clarification is needed, and avoid booking non-refundable travel until you have a decision.
Once a Decision Comes Through
We let you know as soon as we hear back from the channel, and walk you through what comes next — including the digital Visit Pass (e-Pass) you'll be granted on arrival, and the SG Arrival Card you'll need to submit separately online before you travel.

Key Terms — Singapore Visa for Indians
Singapore Entry Visa
Pre-travel permission to enter Singapore. Indian passport holders generally need one before travel; it is applied for through an authorised visa application channel, not directly with ICA.
Visit Pass (e-Pass)
Granted digitally at the checkpoint when you arrive in Singapore — emailed, with no passport stamp (since 11 Mar 2022). This is different from the visa itself.
SG Arrival Card (SGAC)
A free, mandatory digital arrival and health declaration submitted online within 3 days before you arrive. It is not a visa and does not replace one.
Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA)
The Singapore government authority responsible for visa and entry decisions. Visa Expertz assists with preparation and submission only — final decisions rest with ICA.
Social Visit Pass
The official term for a tourist/social Singapore visit — covering leisure travel and visiting family or friends.
Short-Term Business Visit
A visit for meetings, conferences, exhibitions, or trade events. Not a work pass — no employment or salary in Singapore.
Authorised Visa Application Channel
Since individuals in India cannot file directly with ICA, applications are submitted through an authorised channel on the applicant's behalf.
